Event Horizon
Quick Note
Event Horizon is currently in its final stages of development, with full completion expected by the first week of May. The core architectural structure is finished, and the videos displayed represent near-final renders while data collection and real-time visual generation are being finalized.
Izmir
2026
An interactive, generative installation that allows users to manipulate the cosmos with their hands. Driven by MediaPipe hand-tracking and TouchDesigner, the project simulates awe-inspiring astrophysical phenomena—such as black holes and star collisions—inviting the audience to physically interact with the fabric of a digital universe.
Star Collison
I am currently integrating real-world data from binary star collisions to generate a highly realistic simulation of the event. The video demonstrates the pre-collision phase. The actual explosion is still under development as I work to perfect the generative output and final visual outcome.
Black Hole
This simulation isolates the smooth, gravitational distortion of light around a black hole.
This visual mechanic is the namesake of the Event Horizon project. It is inspired by the Information Paradox: the theory that this boundary acts as the ultimate archive of cosmic knowledge. Looking at this render raises a profound question how do these abstract, unimaginably distant forces actually affect us?
Similarities
As a bit of spoiler of the story of the project here is the same file different datas of 2 projects I made one trying to show extreme storms in Gas planets like Jupiters Red spot and on the right there the spinning of a galaxy with a black hole in the middle like our galaxy.
Formula Engine
A custom-built helper application designed specifically for Event Horizon. It acts as the mathematical brain of the installation, handling the complex, real-time physics calculations required to simulate cosmic forces. By offloading this heavy data processing, it ensures the generative visuals in TouchDesigner remain fluid and instantly reactive to user interactions.
This engine made by me using Pyhton and Gemini. Currently developing with Antigravity.
